No. All attendees must register in advance to ensure accurate headcount.
How do I present at Digital Day?
We’re looking for presenters to speak on a variety of topics, such as content creation, community management, crisis communications, accessibility, and multilingual content at proficiency levels from beginner to advanced. If you’re interested, submit your session proposal by 11:59 p.m. July 17, 2026. Presenters receive complimentary event registration.
How do I volunteer at Digital Day?
We’re seeking volunteers to assist with planning, setup and breakdown, registration and greeting, and session room support (timekeeping, speaker help, microphone running, etc.).
If you’re interested, submit your volunteer application by 11:59 p.m. July 17, 2026. Volunteers receive complimentary event registration.
What is the event location?
The event location is the Seattle Center Armory, 305 Harrison St., Seattle, WA 98109. (If you have not been to Seattle Center in a while, please note: Seattle Center Armory was formerly known as the Center House.)
Is public transportation available?
Seattle Center is accessible by numerous bus lines and the Seattle Center Monorail. More information is available on the King County Metro Trip Planner.
Is parking available?
Parking is available at several locations within a short walking distance of the Armory. More information is available on Seattle Center’s website.
What can I expect at the event?
Digital Day brings together communicators and social media professionals working throughout Washington at all levels of government. Most sessions will include opportunities for Q&A. In addition to sessions, participants will have opportunities to meet and network with other attendees.
Why is there a fee to attend?
Charging a fee for participants helps to offset the operating costs for the venue, including staff and audio-visual equipment, as well as event materials and refreshments.
Is a virtual option available?
No. Unfortunately, a virtual option is not feasible at this time.
What is the dress code at the event?
The dress code is smart casual for all participants. Meeting rooms can get chilly, so consider wearing layers for your comfort.
Is Wi-Fi available?
Free Wi-Fi is available in the Armory and in several hotspots on the Seattle Center campus.
Are meals included?
Light refreshments will be served. Attendees will be on their own for lunch. Seattle Center offers a variety of food choices on campus. Visitors can also find water fountains and water bottle refill stations inside the Armory.
