About Digital Day
Why should I attend?
Join other government communications professionals for a one-day, in-person training event focused on strengthening your social media and digital engagement skills. Learn about current practices and trends from local experts, get practical takeaways you can bring back to your agency, and connect with peers from across the region.
When is the event?
Digital Day is Oct. 7, 2026. Doors open at 8:30 a.m., and the program runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. An optional, no-host networking event follows at 4 p.m.
Where is the event?
Digital Day will be held at the Seattle Center Armory, 305 Harrison St., Seattle, WA 98109.
If you have not been to Seattle Center in a while, please note that the Seattle Center Armory was formerly known as the Center House.
Who should attend?
Digital Day is designed for government communications and social media professionals working at local, regional, and state government agencies.
What can I expect at the event?
Digital Day brings together government communicators and social media professionals from throughout Washington and the Pacific Northwest. Hear from communicators and other experts, learn about current practices and trends, and connect with peers. Most breakout sessions will include opportunities for Q&A.
Is a virtual option available?
No. A virtual option is not available at this time.
Registration
How do I register?
Register online to save your spot. The registration deadline is Sept. 25, 2026. Previous Digital Day events have reached capacity, so early registration is encouraged.
How much does registration cost?
Registration is $50 per person.
May I register at the event?
No. All attendees must register in advance to ensure an accurate headcount.
Can I transfer my registration?
Yes. If your plans change, you may transfer your registration to a colleague or peer. Registrations must be transferred by Sept. 25, 2026.
Can I request a refund?
Yes. If your plans change, you may request a refund. Refund requests must be received by Sept. 25, 2026.
Why is there a fee to attend?
The registration fee helps offset operating costs for the venue, including staff and audio/visual equipment, as well as event materials and refreshments.
Transportation & Parking
Is public transportation available?
Yes. Seattle Center is accessible by numerous bus lines and the Seattle Center Monorail. More information is available through the King County Metro Trip Planner.
Is parking available?
Yes. Several parking options are available within a short walking distance of the Armory. More information is available on the Seattle Center website.
At the Event
Are meals included?
Light refreshments will be served. Attendees are on their own for lunch, and Seattle Center offers a variety of food options on campus.
Water fountains and water bottle refill stations are also available inside the Armory.
Is the networking event included with registration?
Yes. There is no additional fee to attend the optional networking event. The event is no-host, so attendees purchase their own food and drinks.
A separate RSVP is required to help us plan for an accurate headcount.
Is Wi-Fi available?
Yes. Free Wi-Fi is available in the Armory and at several hotspots throughout the Seattle Center campus.
What is the dress code?
The dress code is smart casual. Meeting rooms can get chilly, so consider wearing layers for your comfort.
